Analytics & Reporting

Know which dollars turned into booked jobs.

Most local businesses can tell you what they spent and roughly how busy they are. Almost none can tell you which channel produced the work. That gap is where budget quietly gets wasted — and it's fixable.

The problem

Why the reports you get don't help

Dashboards show activity

Impressions, clicks, and reach are effort, not outcome. None of them tell you whether the phone rang.

Calls aren't tracked

For most service businesses the majority of leads arrive by phone. Untracked, they're invisible to every report you have.

No attribution

Without UTMs and proper source tracking, every lead looks like it came from nowhere and budget gets split on gut feel.

GA4 set up wrong

A default GA4 install measures pageviews, not leads. Out of the box it will not tell you what you need.

The process

How we run it.

No black box. This is the order we work in and why each step comes when it does.

Audit what exists

We start by finding out what's actually being measured — usually less than expected, and often measured wrong.

GA4 configured for leads

Set up around conversion events that matter: calls, forms, bookings. Not a default pageview install.

Call & form tracking

Every inbound lead captured and attributed to the campaign, keyword, or page that produced it.

UTM discipline

A consistent tagging scheme across every campaign, so sources stop collapsing into “direct” and “other”.

KPI dashboard

One view, the numbers that matter: leads by source, cost per lead, cost per booked job, revenue.

Monthly review

A real conversation about what the numbers mean and what changes next — not a PDF nobody opens.

What we report on

Four numbers that actually decide budget.

Leads by source

Which channel produced each lead — search, Maps, paid, referral. The foundation everything else is built on.

Cost per lead

What each channel charges you for an enquiry. Useful, but on its own it still rewards cheap leads that never book.

Cost per booked job

The number that matters. A channel with expensive leads that book beats a cheap one that doesn't, every time.

Revenue by channel

Where the money actually came from — so budget follows evidence instead of the loudest dashboard.

What's included

Delivered inside the Program.

Analytics & Reporting isn't sold as a standalone retainer. It's one capability of the operator-led Veltio Program — because on its own, disconnected from tracking and follow-up, it underperforms.

Expected timeline

What typically happens, and when.

We'd rather set an honest expectation than win the sale with a fast one.

Week 1
Audit

We map what's tracked, what's broken, and what's invisible. This is the free audit.

Week 2–3
Implementation

GA4, Tag Manager, call tracking, form tracking, and UTM scheme go in and get verified.

Week 4
Dashboard live

One view of leads by source and cost per lead. Real data starts accumulating.

Month 2–3
Attribution matures

Enough booked-job data to tie revenue back to channel and start moving budget on evidence.

Typical ranges based on how this work usually unfolds — not a guaranteed outcome. Actual timing depends on your market, competition, budget, and starting point.

Questions

Analytics & Reporting, honestly answered.

What's in the free audit?
We look at what you currently track — GA4 configuration, whether calls are attributed, whether forms fire conversion events, and whether your campaigns are tagged. You get a plain-English summary of what's missing. No obligation.
Why isn't my current GA4 enough?
A default GA4 install measures pageviews and sessions. It doesn't know a phone call happened, and it usually isn't configured to treat a form submission as a conversion. It reports traffic, not leads.
Do you track phone calls?
Yes, and for most service businesses this is the single biggest blind spot — the majority of leads arrive by phone. We attribute each call to the campaign, keyword, or page that produced it.
Do I keep access to the data?
Yes. The accounts are yours, the dashboards are yours, and you keep the history if you leave.
